I really hate writing a bio about myself. I'm never sure what i should say. So, I decided to start a Random Facts list about me. Every so often, I will post five random facts.
Okay, so here we go...
I never learned to swim.
Growing up, it wasn't considered to be important. We didn't live near water or have a swimming pool in town. DH can swim and I made sure the Child learned.
I am not a morning person.
I hate getting up. I would rather stay in bed and sleep. I am definitely a night person.
I have an office supply addiction.
I readily admit this. I love pens...all colors and styles. I love sticky notes, composition books, colored paper, especially colored notebook paper.
I love science fiction.
I grew up watching Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, and reruns of Star Trek. I read H.G. Wells, Jules Vernon, and Ray Bradbury. Don't get me wrong, I love paranormal stuff too. Now I just need to figure out a storyline that combines both elements.
I hugged the rail the second time I went deep sea fishing.
We had the trip planned for months. The night before, I did the patch thing for sea sickness but it didn't help. The waves were really bad. The boat went up and down and rocked from side to side. I was okay until one of the guys started talking about the cold chicken and biscuits in one of the coolers. After that, the rail and I became best friends. It was a long 12 hours.
